I’m currently a second-year undergraduate biology and public policy major at the University of Chicago. I’ve lived in the Midwest my entire life, but don’t be fooled: I love to travel, and find it imperative to explore other cultures–and their food!
My cooking style, consequently, is rather difficult to define. I pull flavor combinations and cooking techniques from various cuisines, but the common denominator is that I try to be very conscious of what I am consuming. Eating locally, healthfully, naturally, and deliciously are of utmost importance.
I am always open to new ideas, which is why I primarily cook for my friends and family. There is a level of passion and thoughtfulness in my food that is conducive to great conversations–one of my favorite parts of cooking.
